After earning her Bachelor’s Degree of Education in Exercise Science and Wellness, Cindy went on to earn a Master’s Degree from Auburn University in Exercise Physiology is all-but-dissertation for a PhD in Exercise Physiology from Auburn University. She is a Board- Certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and is certified in Pediatric Obesity Programs through “Shapedown”, a national weight management and weight loss program for overweight/obese children, teens and their families. Cindy holds a PhD in natural medicine from the International Quantum University of Integrative Medicine in Honolulu, HI.
Cindy taught health, nutrition, and CPR full-time at Georgia Highlands College for six years before making a career change to more health and health care-oriented opportunities following the loss of her twin sister and multiple friends and family members to cancer, various autoimmune or preventable diseases, and after watching her youngest daughter struggle with multiple health problems for which traditional medicine had no answer. As a result, she is empathetic and compassionate with a positive and energetic attitude toward patients and their families while working with patients to get to the root cause of their health issues.
She has been trained in orthomolecular nutrition, integrative medicine, functional medicine lab reviews, and worked as a naturopathic practitioner and health coach/health educator for three years before working as a brain mapping and biofeedback technician, nutritional counselor, and office manager.
